# Chip lookup source and attribution

Dataset supplied to Pathom Recycle on 2026-10-17. Source descriptions and unresolved conflicts are preserved in README.md, chips.json and conflicts.csv. The database includes data derived from iTXTech fdnext, manufacturer catalogs, distributors and buyer posts; the latter are not independently verified by Pathom Recycle.

Integration: Node.js >=18, Express 4.19.2. Import registerChipRoutes from chip-check.js and pass the Express app plus {data, save, auth, memberAuth, audit}. data contains existing admins/members and durable chipLookup state; save persists it, auth/memberAuth verify existing account tokens, audit records price changes. No account database, private runtime data, tokens or secrets are included in these source files.

Search order: normalized exact match, existing prefix suggestions, naming-rule inference for long codes. JZ99 normalizes to JZ099. Results preserve source and conflict warnings. Only owner-configured prices are used; third-party sample prices in the supplied dataset are not activated. Rule estimates, uncertain types and conflicting records do not produce an automatic board quote.

## PCC 128 import (2026-10-18)

[Supplemental records](./pcc-128.json) retain all 128 supplied workbook records, including source URLs, source quality labels and original notes. These labels are claims from the supplied file, not independent verification. The lookup module merges 54 new normalized codes and attaches references to 74 existing codes, yielding 3,745 unique codes. Existing values are preserved; three capacity disagreements generate warnings (KLUFG8RHDA-B2D1, KMGP6001BM-B514, KMQD60013M-B318). New unverified records and conflicts cannot generate automatic board prices. Standalone RAM remains separate from storage capacity. The original dataset and decoder inputs are unchanged.
